Charlestown's Gatehouse 75: It's Hipstoric!

New, 6 comments

'Tis undoubtedly a landlord's market in Boston apartments, but a landlord still has to stand out, no?

The Bozzuto Management Company, the concern behind the new Gatehouse 75 near the Gilmore Bridge in Charlestown, has not only rolled out the amenities for the 99-unit complex, including a residents lounge with a catering kitchen; a 2,000-square-foot roof deck with a grill; a gym; Zip Car proximity; and, perhaps most alluringly, relatively quick access to the Orange Line (transit-oriented, people, transit-oriented).

The developer is also throwing out lifestyle vibes via the photos on its website: smiling people drinking great goblets of wine; a line of Hubway bikes; bike storage, for that matter; the promise of a future Whole Foods across the street. As if to remove any doubt, the website also says of Gatehouse 75, "It's Hipstoric." Right next to a shot of the Bunker Hill Monument.

Rents for 1-BRs start at $2,575 and for 2-BRs at $3,225. Move-ins can begin Sept. 1.
