It was only in February that the 2,902-square-foot townhouse at 3 Acorn Street hit the sales market for $2,995,000, declaring itself in the Keller Williams listing "as much Europe as Boston."
The 4-BR, 3.5-BA spread, with two balconies and a private courtyard, traded in a deal that closed April 30 for $2,950,000. The townhouse, which dates from 1825 and which rests on one of Beacon Hill's narrowest lanes, last traded in July 2010 for $2,400,000. Before that, it was way back in 1998, when the sales price crested $1,000,000. Those were the days.
