When this 3-BR, 3-BA, 2,707-square-foot spread at the Ritz-Carlton hit the sales market in March, we noted the oddness of its listing photos.
Whatever the quirkiness of the previous owner of the 37th-floor corner unit, its new owner got a goddamn deal. The condo was originally listed for $5,100,000 and then the price was bumped to $5,300,000. It ended up trading, however, for $4,900,000, thus bucking a major trend in Boston real estate: that of the over-ask closing price. No. 37C last traded way back in November 2008 for $3,100,000.
