A little over a week ago we shared with you the above photo of a gutted 124 Chestnut Street, the 148-year-old Beacon Hill townhouse whose redevelopment sparked a contentious spate over whether aged structures in the neighborhood should (or even can be) redone so thoroughly. It turns out they can be (the should part will probably never be settled).
Dean Stratouly, a real estate developer who owns 124 Chestnut, is all set to transform it into the townhouse rendered twice above. The renderings come from his website for 124 Chestnut, and reflect more recent designs then those put out in June.
