Transit-Oriented Development

Nearby the Forest Hills Station in Jamaica Plain, another housing project focused on transit-oriented development and sustainability is planned for the area. Urbanica, a Boston design/development group is planning to build 120 units across the street from the station. The $50 million project will be a mix of apartments and energy-efficient 3-story homes. The apartments will rent for about $2,400 and the one-, two-, and three-townhomes are expected to hit the market for between $300,000 to $550,000. [BBJ]
