Plans for 84 Fenway; Treasure Hunt in Charlestown; More!

FENWAY— 84 The Fenway, a 5-story, 22-unit building, sold for $6.7 million. The building was damaged last year due to a fire on the top floor. The new owners plan on starting renovations as soon as possible. [BBJ]

CHARLESTOWN— Archaeologists will start excavating parts of Training Field Park in Charlestown's Winthrop Square. Winthrop Square is near Bunker Hill Monument and is on the Freedom Trail. Archaeologists hope to find deposits and artifacts dating back to Colonial Charlestown and the Revolutionary War. [Boston.com]

STATEWIDE— As part of the annual MassWorks infrastructure grant program, grants will be given for projects that support sustainable mixed-used districts and multi-family housing in different communities throughout the state. There is $25 million available for this round of funding. [BBJ]
