Quincy's Massive Merchant Row Gets Busy Building

A reader tipped us off to the recent demolition work for Merchant Row, the $1.6 billion Quincy project slated to spawn 287 apartments in two buildings as well as 35,000 square feet of retail and 24,000 square feet of office space. "They just took out a fairly sizable commercial building where you see the hole in the ground," writes the reader, who is not involved in Merchant Row. The project will eventually be linked with the Red Line (transit-oriented, people, transited oriented). Got your own tip? Hit up the Curbed Boston tipline!
