Historic High Street House Goes Low

The Harrison House at 100 High Street is one of the oldest extant residences in Charlestown (its genesis lay sometime in the late 1790s). It's been on the sales market since April.

The 3-BR, 2-BA, Federal-style townhouse, with seven fireplaces and pine floors from the 18th century, originally dropped for $1,450,000. The price was cut not even three weeks later by $51,000; and, now, it's been cut again: by a cool $100K. The Harrison House's cobblestone patio and private driveway will now run you $1,299,000.
