407 Beacon's Six Marble Fireplaces Find a Buyer

The townhouse dating from 1867 hit the sales market in late March for $4,850,000 and never deviated from that tag.

The 6-BR townhouse with three full bathrooms (and two powder rooms) last traded in January 2012 for $3,850,000, and therein lay a clue for how much it might have gone for this go-round (the deal is pending, according to the region's multiple-listing service, and not closed). When it last traded, it had been listed for $4,149,000, dropping then more than 7 percent before the deal was sealed.

So we're ballparking the close at somewhere around $4.5M. For that, the new owner gets not only the 19th-century details, but a private brick patio, six marble fireplaces and 12-foot ceilings as well as au pair/in-law suite and two deeded parking spaces. Bring it.
