Millennium Place Milestone; Eastie Casino Deal; More!

DOWNTOWN CROSSING—New luxury condo (and de facto gated community) Millennium Place is 75 percent sold out, with prices ranging from $750,000 to $3,500,000. Don't fret: 64 spreads are still available. [Millennium Partners]

EAST BOSTON—Never bet against "Blackjack" Menino: "A Suffolk Downs casino would give the city of Boston at least $32 million annually and the East Boston neighborhood an upfront payment of $33.4 million under an agreement reached with Mayor Thomas M. Menino today. The deal includes provisions that could increase the annual payment to Boston much higher if the casino is highly profitable." [Boston.com]

QUINCY—Like your favorite uncle, the city's mega-Merchants Row development is getting shorter and bigger: "[T]he 15-story residential building will shift to a six-story building and overtake more property. New drawings in the first phase of the $1.6 billion redevelopment show residential buildings will splay out in three buildings, and retail space will increase 60 percent on the site as Street-Works develops more properties on the block. Parking spaces will be provided on one level as opposed to two." [Boston.com]
