Above are shots from this week of the under-construction 4-6 Newbury Street, where a Chanel store will take up the first two levels and six condos, sold as blank-canvas shells, will take up the rest.
The condos have pretty much sold out, though we can't seem to find any closed deals quite yet. The last listings prices, however, give us an idea of the scope we're talking about here: One 5,900-square-foot spread was asking $7,965,000; another that went to contract, this one 4,020 square feet, wanted $5,025,000. Remember: These are not townhouses nor do they have particularly spectacular views. Yet, the prices! We'll see when it's all said and done.
