Byron Street Condo Works on Many Levels

New, 1 comment

Cambridge-based architect Graham Gund designed the airy interiors of this condo, one of only two at 5 Byron Street in Beacon HIll. Within its 5,323 square feet are three bedrooms; four and a half bathrooms; tons of storage; a two-car garage attached to the whole shebang; a Zen garden on the roof; a private deck off the master suite; an elevator to said roof and the three upper levels below; and, of course, separate staff quarters.
Unit 5 at 5 Byron last traded in November 2008, right as the world crumbled, for $5,500,000. It hit the sales market Saturday through Gibson Sotheby's for a cool $6,950,000, making it one of the priciest new Boston listings of the new year. Stay tuned.
