The Lincoln Plaza Residences at 181 Essex Street is one of the Leather District's loftier loft condos—as in its lofts actually appear to be loft-like in a Boston not quite sure of what loft-like looks like (say that 10 times fast, eh?). Its Unit E701 hit the sales market right before Thanksgiving for $799,000.
Four days ago, however, it chopped its price a cool $41K to $758,000. The 2-BR, 2-BA, 1,007-square-footer on the seventh floor, with two sets of what the Maxwell Associates' listing calls "closet systems" as well as deeded private storage, last traded in those prelapsarian days of early 2007 for $538,000. Stay tuned.
