Tailored Suit Inspires Loews Boston's Room Redo

New, 1 comment

The hotel at the old Boston Police HQ at 350 Stuart Street is going sartorial in a $10 million revamp starting this month. The Loews Boston will not only craft meeting rooms paying homage to heroic Boston cops and a restaurant fusing French cuisine with New England farm products, but will redo its 225 rooms and three suites in the mold of what a release from the hotel describes as "a fine-tailored suit."

See, the rooms' fabrics will include hounds tooth, grey flannel and herringbone (above's a shot of a model of what the new rooms will look like). There's also going to be complimentary Wi-Fi as well as "plenty of work and relaxation space" in the redone spaces. The whole shebang is supposed to be finished by March 31. Maybe then an update of our Curbed Boston Hotels 18? We'll see.
