Sales listings at the Heritage on the Garden are rare enough; but when they close they never disappoint. Case in point: This floor-through condo with flourishes right out of the last days of Versailles. It officially sold in mid-January for the first time since July 1988.
Back then the closing price was a mere $1,390,000 (about $2.7M in today's dollars). This go-round the 3-BR, 2.5-BA, 2,429-square-foot spread with two garaged parking spaces and a dictatorial terrace asked $5,750,000 through Campion & Co. Turns out it got exactly that after spending five months on the market before going to contract. Such is often the way in Boston condos.
