We told you last week about the biggest condo trade in Boston in 2013: the $7,817,500 sale of Unit 601 at the brand-new Chanel No. 6 at 4-6 Newbury Street. It closed Dec. 27, taking at least one spread in the five-unit development above a new Chanel store off the market. Three remain, it looks like, including one poised to beat last year's priciest sale.
The most expensive of the remaining trio is Unit 401, a 3,926-square-footer asking $7,900,000 (which, incidentally, was around what the record-setting Unit 601 had been asking). The next two are more affordable: The 3,935-square-foot Unit 301 wants $7,500,000; and the 3,100-square-foot Unit 302 wants $5,500,000. That tag comes via an epic $2,000,000 price-chop back in October. Stay tuned.
