How Much for 1-BR in Beacon Hill Building Where JFK Lived?

New, 4 comments

RentSpotter is Curbed Boston's apartment-rent guessing game. We provide you with some details and pictures from a listing, and you vote for which monthly rent you think it's asking. If you think it's none of the above, tender a more exact guess in the comments or shoot us an email. We reveal the answer on Friday. And, hey, no cheating!

What/Where: a 1-BR, 1-BA apartment in Beacon Hill near the State House
Square Footage: 563
The Skinny: Everyone knows that micro-apartments were pretty much DOA in Boston. But the conceit lives on in snug arrangements such as this unit. The apartment is not micro, per se, but certainly acts like it with its admirable use of space. Note the bed tucked into a wall recess (and beneath a shelf); the two closets on either side; the counter doubling as table; cupboards reaching to the ceiling. There's also access to a common roof deck; and electric and cable are included in the monthly rent. Oh! And John F. Kennedy lived in the building in the late 1940s. We are in the midst of elections.
