More Than 80 Percent of Everett's Batch Yard Up for Grabs

New, 7 comments

Everyone knows that Everett is the next Somerville and perhaps the most prominent new development in Everett is the Batch Yard apartment complex (no, not the casino-resort; that may never get built!). Said Batch Yard, a renovation of the old Charlestown Chew Candy Factory, hosted its grand opening on Oct. 1, drawing more than 300 people. Leasing started in August and 43 of the Batch Yard's 328 apartments are spoken for. Of the 285 apartments left, the rents start at the following:
Studio: $1,605
· 1-BR with open floorplan: $1,905
· 1-BR with closed floorplan: $2,125
· 1-BR with den: $2,295
· 2-BR: $2,680
· 2-BR with den: $3,985
· 3-BR: $3,180
Apartments range from 648 square feet to 1,356 square feet. And, because this is the brave new world of Greater Boston amenities, the Batch Yard includes an outdoor swimming pool and movie theater as well as a bike storage and repair room.
