Back Bay's Harvard Club Condos Drop, Membership Included

We've known for a while that part of the Harvard Club on Commonwealth Ave. in Back Bay was being converted into five luxury condos to help pay the organization's bills. Said condos have now hit the sales market all at once.

The five units range in price from $3,850,000 to $6,650,000. The smallest is a 3-BR, 3.5-BA spread over 2,415 square feet; the biggest is a 3-BR, 3.5-BA spread covering an entire 4,052-square-foot floor of the building. (It can also be configured two different ways, depending on which boulevard—Comm. Ave. or Newbury Street—a buyer wants the family room to face; the floorplan for the Comm. Ave.-facing option is above). In fact, all the units have three bedrooms and three and a half baths. Moreover, each comes with a Harvard Club membership, which, according to the Campion & Co. listings, entitles owners to "all corresponding privileges at the club's Back Bay and Financial District locations." We're guessing, given the frenetic pace of Boston condo sales nowadays, these puppies would have traded without that added perk. It never hurts to stand out, though.
