When it originally dropped back in October 2013, the listing for the penthouse at 476 Beacon Street in Back Bay had no actual photographs of what was inside, just renderings. Why? Because it was undergoing a "meticulous renovation," according to brokers Diane Keliher and Patti Donovan. So instead we got the renderings plus a general description: three bedrooms; three and a half bathrooms; 3,419 square feet; direct-elevator access; private roof deck with fridge and sink; "super luxury"; and so on. Even after Mainsail Management Development finished the renovations and the penthouse was in contract, no photos. We have the photos now. Originally listed for $6,500,000, the penthouse at 476 Beacon Street closed Dec. 19 for $5,850,000. Cheers.
