Macaulay Culkin Is Coming; PYT and Xi'an; More!

Let's a grab a bit of restaurant news with Eater Boston.

FENWAY—This is the greatest news ever for people who like (1) The Velvet Underground, (2) Macaulay Culkin, and (3) pizza. Culkin's pizza-and-Velvet Underground-themed band, the Pizza Underground, plays at Church on April 19, and tickets are only $15.
FORT POINT/BEACON HILL/SOUTH END—There's a lot of chef shuffling going around in the Barbara Lynch Gruppo. Last week, Stephanie Cmar announced that she's leaving No. 9 Park, and this weekend, she debuts her donut pop-up, Stacked Donuts, at The Butcher Shop. This week, Kristen Kish announced that she's leaving her post as chef de cuisine at Menton and chatted with Eater about what comes next. No. 9 Park chef de cuisine Scott Jones will take Kish's place at Menton.
BEYOND BOSTON—Two out-of-town restaurants with cult followings have long-term goals to land in Boston. Philly's PYT, home of absurd hamburgers, is introducing franchises in several cities, and Boston's a likely candidate for a second wave after they get a foothold in D.C. and NYC. Meanwhile, Xi'an Famous Foods, a growing NYC chain featuring Xi'an cuisine like hand-pulled noodles, is eyeing Boston for expansion within the next five years.
HUB-WIDE—This weekend for brunch, check out one (or more) of these nine unique French toasts that demand to be eaten.
