Some neighborhoods, such as Back Bay or the South End, have zero homes for sale asking under a quarter-mill. And then there are neighborhoods like South Boston, which you might think would have at least a handful. Not really: More like a palmful. Specifics were hard to come by but...

The 1-BR, 1-BA, 758-square-foot condo last traded in May 2012 for $193,000. It now wants a very precise $225,758.
