Another Monster Along Jamaica Plain's Parley Avenue

The $2,155,000 trade of 45 Parley Avenue was the most expensive home sale in Jamaica Plain in 2013. The newly listed 41 Parley Avenue will likely get nowhere close to that. Still, it might land amongst JP's biggest sales of 2014 should it close near its asking price.

The 2,603-square-foot house hit the sales market late last week for a cool $1,295,000. Beyond the three bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms, you get touches like 12-foot ceilings in the master suite and a built-in grill on the stone patio. Plus! It's close to the Stony Brook and Green Street T stops (transit-oriented, people, transit-oriented). The whole shebang last traded for $1,080,000 in August 2009. Stay tuned.
