Put your checkbook away, this puppy's spoken for. The 4-BR, 2.5-BA townhouse at 7 St. Charles Street in the South End, with French doors opening to garden views and built-in shelves galore, hit the sales market on Feb. 25. It had last traded back in July 2011 for $1,925,000.
This go-round it wanted $2,495,000 through Gibson Sotheby's—or a rather reasonable (we think) $804 a square foot. Well, guess what? The townhouse has already found a buyer less than three weeks in. Such is the Boston housing market nowadays.
