Fast Times in Egleston Square: a Deal in Under a Week

New, 3 comments

The Boston housing market is no stranger to fast sales, which contributes mightily to the city's big dearth of available homes. Case in point: this triple-decker at 20 Egleston Street in Jamaica Plain. No sooner had the 3,254-square-foot spread with fenced-in yard hit the sales market than it went to contract.

The asking price was $699,000. It will be a while before we know if 20 Egleston, which is family-owned and -occupied, commands that tag or near it. But wowza: from market to buyer in under a week!
