A Deck for Every Non-Winter Season on Agassiz Street

It never hurts to have an angle in the Hub's go-go real estate market, and this Victorian at 27 Agassiz Street in Cambridge's Avon Hill neighborhood has a few: three decks; tons of exposed beams; and location, location, location (near Harvard and Porter squares and their T stops). The home belonged to cancer researcher Susan Love and, while its bones are in the late 19th century, it's obviously been renovated and maintained quite fantastically. It's been on the sales market for one week and a day.

The 5-BR, 4.5-BA house with parking for four wants $3,175,000 this go-round. The 4,283-square-footer last traded in August 2009 for $1,875,000. Renovations, we said, renovations. Stay tuned.
