61 Chestnut Street Wants $3M-Plus More Than It Got in '13

New, 4 comments

The 3,282-square-foot townhouse at 61 Chestnut Street traded as recently as March 2013 for $3,315,000 after ginormous price-chops. It's back on the market with all-new electrical and plumbing systems as well as some other flourishes and two on-site parking spaces.

The 4-BR, 4.5-BA manse with bones in the 1820s wants $6,695,000 (or roughly $2,039 a square foot) this go-round. That's $3,380,000 more than it got 13 months ago. Can it command that, even in this frothy perfectly healthy Hub housing market? Stay tuned. This one will be entertaining.
