The fabulous five floor-throughs of the newly construction Chanel No. 6 at 4-6 Newbury Street in Back Bay have commanded quite the closing tags of late, including the biggest Boston condo deal of 2013. Add one more titanic taking to the list: the 5,600-square-foot Unit 401.
The 3-BR, 4.5-BA, which comes ready to customize (i.e. it's a shell), hit the sales market in early October for $7,900,000, and closed on April 30 for $7,500,000—$400K off its listing price, sure, but nothing to sneeze at. And, if you're bummed you missed this particular unit above the new two-level Chanel store, then know this: Unit 301 is still up for grabs through Campion & Co. It also wants $7,900,000. Go.
