Forget Bathrooms: Waterfront TH Offers His and Her Libraries

It doesn't take much to move a home in this Thunderdome of a Boston housing market, but every little bit helps. Take this recently listed townhouse unit at Union Wharf on the North End waterfront. It's a beaut, no doubt: expansive Harbor views; four bedrooms; two full bathrooms and two half-baths; more than 4,500 square feet (due in no small part to the fact that this is a combination of two townhouse units); and two parking spaces.

Here's the mind-blower, though: The Otis & Ahearn listing says it comes with "his & her private libraries with custom built-ins, wet bar & bamboo flooring." And the floorplans seem to bear this out, showing both an office and a study. When you really have to concentrate...

Unit #TH18/19 is asking $6,200,000. That makes it Boston's priciest new listing, but remarkably enough places it barely in the top 20 most expensive overall.
