PriceSpotter is Curbed Boston's asking-price guessing game. We provide you with some details and pictures from an apartment listing, and you vote for which price you think it is. If you think it's none of the above, tender a more exact guess in the comments or shoot us an email. Later this week we reveal the answer. And, hey, no cheating!
What/Where: a 3-BR, 2-BA single-family on Edge Hill Street near Round Hill Street in Jamaica Plain
Square Footage: 2,007
The Skinny: The last time this house traded was in August 1999 for $159,000. What a difference a decade and a half makes, eh? The neighborhood's certainly changed, for better or worse, with that giant gentrification exclamation point, Whole Foods, opening less than half a mile away, for one thing. By itself, the redone single-family is an impressive sight: third-floor suite with cathedral ceilings; three-car driveway; patio, porch and garden; central air; proximity to the Orange Line (and on a one-way loop that discourages traffic). It hit the market not even a week ago. Your turn.
