Here's What a West Roxbury Spread Asks After 15 Years


Unit 24 at 225 Baker Street in West Roxbury last traded way, way back in March 1999 for $92,000. The 2-BR, 1-BA spread has been spiffed up and is recently back on the market for more than twice that (well more than twice that even if you adjust for inflation).

The 730-square-foot condo, with lots of sunlight and access to the building's coin-operated laundry, wants $205,900. (Incidentally, the $92K in 1999, adjusted for inflation, is about $130K in today's cabbage.) It also comes with what we think is a rather hefty association fee of $320, but, hey, in this Boston condo market...
