Redone Townhouse at 44 Appleton Street Bucks Boston Trend

New, 5 comments

The 5-BR, 4-BA townhouse at 44 Appleton Street in the South End had last traded back in August 2009 for $2,125,000 when it hit the sales market post-renovation in February for a cool $3,150,000. For that, one was to get flourishes such as a floor-through master suite, a private roof deck (perfect for viewing Fourth of July fireworks, we're sure), a private garden and an "abundance of storage." The beaut quickly found a buyer and we now know the closing price.

Forty-four Appleton closed on Friday for $3,130,000. That's $20K under—definitely not in line with a major trend in Boston housing. Still. Not bad.
