Most Apts. in Bay Village's Arlington Have Been Leased

The 128 apartments of the Arlington in Bay Village started dropping back in late February for gobsmacking rents such as 1-BRs for $4,215 and 2-BRs for $6,200. The rent also covered access to amenities such as an indoor basketball court, a pet spa, bike storage (of course) and a 24-hour concierge—pretty much par for the course stuff in today's newer Boston rentals.

Beyond these, Arlington developers the Related Cos. and the Congress Group also promised "move-in coordinators to handle every last detail from choosing the best moving service to handling utility and technology set-up and personal assistants, who, with a phone call or email can help with almost any request such as dinner reservations or theater tickets and housekeeping and dry cleaning services." Gotta-have stuff, right?

The amenities are apparently working and the rents aren't so gobsmacking after all: More than 60 percent of the Arlington's units have been leased in the last four months, according to the developers. The remaining 1-BRs start at $3,800 a month and 2-BRs at $6,200. Act fast.
