Adèle Naudé Santos designed this newly listed house at 25 Village Street in Somerville, one of three new creations on the site of an old foundry, when she was still dean of M.I.T.'s architecture program (she remained on the faculty following her winter exit from the top job). The 2-BR, 2.5-BA is a home of severe and clean cuts, with 27-foot expanses in some places and 12-foot ceilings as well; dominating it all is a 24-foot wall of glass.
The 1,993-square-footer, with a backyard and a terrace, wants $1,200,000.
