Here's the Fate of One of Boston's Cheapest Condos

When it dropped way back in early April, Unit 221 at 121 Tremont Street in Boston's next It Neighborhood was a bona fide member of the Sub-Quarter-Mill Club. The 1-BR, 1-BA in the elevator building was asking but $239,000 a square foot, a relative steal in a Boston condo market gone thoroughly bonkers. Seriously: It was one of the least expensive prospects in the entire city.

The 726-square-foot spread, however, quickly found a buyer willing to pay well over the asking (not an unheard-of thing in today's Hub). Unit 221 closed the day before the Fourth for $250,000 even. It's out of the club and off the market.
