Boston's Booziest Bathroom Back on the Market After a Year

The last time we checked in with the duplex penthouse at 25 Lime Street—one of only two units in the building dating from 1800—it was when it traded in late June 2013 for $3,825,000. It had asked nearly $4M originally and took a goodly while to sell (more than a year—an eternity in the modern Boston condo market). Well, Unit 2 is back and with it what is perhaps the most... interesting bathroom in all of Boston: It was lined with parts of old wooden wine cases as part of a redo of the entire building in 2009. There's also a private elevator and a private roof deck. And a chance now to buy the place again.

As of Tuesday, the 3,230-square-foot spread with three bedrooms and three full bathrooms is asking $4,399,000—or $574,000 more than it traded for last summer. Stay tuned.
