Boston's Priciest New Listing as Mad-Crazy as You'd Hoped

New, 5 comments

The 4,270-square-foot palace in the sky that is Penthouse 2B at the Ritz-Carlton in downtown Boston is officially the city's priciest new listing. The designation is not that surprising (or should not be): There's the scope in said square footage; the three bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms; the 1,200-square-foot terrace; the 13-foot-long living room with wood-burning fireplace; the theater room with wet bar; the whole penthouse-at-the-Ritz-ness about it. Penthouse is asking $6,850,000 (plus a condo fee of $5,761). It last traded one recession ago in September 2006 for $3,900,000. Stay tuned.
