Visible Yankees Poster Can't Stop Super-Fast Somerville Sale

'Tis a sign of these mad times: A rare sub-$250K condo listing in Somerville (or Cambridge) sells really, really fast and for over what the seller was asking. Not only that, but the seller's visible Yankees fandom proved no speed bump. (The seller also appears to have been a serious beer fiend; note the PBR and Dogfish Head signs.) The modest 1-BR, 1-BA Unit 4 at 28 Pinckney Street near the Sullivan Orange Line stop—not to be confused with the new Assembly one—dropped on the sales market in mid-July for $187,500. The 416-square-foot spread with shared outdoor space closed a few days ago for $190,000, or $2,500 over asking. Yankee baseball.
