Way back on Monday we ran down what just under the magic number of $300,000 buys you in Boston these days (basically a 3-BR single-family beyond core downtown neighborhoods such as Back Bay and the South End). Now on to just under $500,000. What'd you get for that?
First up: This newly listed, um, 3-BR single-family at 115 Greaton Road in West Roxbury (not to be confused with Roslindale and vice versa). It also has one and a half bathrooms; and unfolds over 1,456 square feet. And! It wants a precise $499,900.
__
Unit 3 at 103 Neponset Drive also wants $499,900. It's a 3-BR, 3.5-BA condo in Hyde Park's Fairmount Hill totaling 2,545 square feet.
__
Another Unit 3, this time in Southie's 86 O Street: two bedrooms, one and a half bathrooms, 948 square feet. There's private outdoor space, too. It wants an even $499,000.
__
The 2-BR, 1-BA, 758-square-foot Unit 4 at 55 Main Street in Charlestown comes with an off-street parking space. It also wants $499K.
__
The listing for Unit 66 at 483 Beacon Street touts its proximity to Red Sox games, which we imagine is usually a strong selling point. Usually. Anyway, it's a 1-BR, 1-BA condo spread over 475 square feet in far western Back Bay, and it wants $499,000.
