The Boston Apartment Tower Offering Three Months Free

New, 6 comments

This tasty nugget arrived over the always discreet Curbed Boston Tipline late on Friday: Radian at 120 Kingston Street in downtown Boston is offering three months of free rent to new tenants. The offer apparently arrived in an email to brokers from the tower's management.

The 26-story, 240-unit Radian, which opened for business in February and which had at one point been offering a free month, joins a chorus of other higher-end apartment complexes offering tenant goodies, including free rent. It's all part of the Luxury Glutpocalypse barreling toward the Greater Boston apartment market.

Radian still has dozens of apartments left for lease, presumably most if not all at that three-free-months discount. These include studios starting at $2,600; 1-BRs at $2,970; and 2-BRs around $4K. There's even a 3-BR penthouse that can be had for the low, low price of $8,000 a month.
