Yesterday brought the thunderclap of news that developer Related Beal and architect Arrowstreet planned to build up what they're calling Congress Square. It would essentially be a gigantic retail-office-plaza space bordered by State, Devonshire, Water, and Congress streets in downtown Boston. Above is one of the new renderings from Arrowstreet about how the square could look by fall 2015, when it's scheduled to be finished.
