Pricing Yo-Yo for Gilded Number at 423 Beacon Street

New, 5 comments

It ain't quite pricey enough to crack Boston's 25 most expensive, but the aged townhouse at 423 Beacon Street in Back Bay is nothing to sneeze at: 3,817 square feet; five bedrooms; six bathrooms, including four full; bones in the 1880s; new hardwood floors; a stone courtyard with a fountain; two parking spaces; location, location, location. The townhouse originally dropped way back in September 2013 for $3,950,000 through Gibson Sotheby's. It then chopped its price all the way to $3.5M and then disappeared from the market altogether right before Halloween. Four-twenty-three re-debuted back in late June for a cool $3,700,000 through Coldwell Banker. It last traded for $2,570,000 in August 2004. Stay tuned.
