The monthly rent of $2,750 is one of the busiest price points in Boston right now. And the spring rental season looms like a thunderclap in the darkest sky (see this chart for more on rents in general going into 2015). So we thought it was as good a time as any to run down the options available at $2,750. We begin with a 3-BR, 2-BA, 1,700-square-foot apartment at 11 Glade Avenue in Jamaica Plain. Unit 2 is two levels and there's coin-operated laundry in the basement.
__
This 2-BR, 2-BA is also in Jamaica Plain, at the newish 225 Centre Street off Jackson Square to be exact. Unit 720 is 1,030 square feet and comes with W/D in-unit.
__
This 2-BR, 2-BA at 53 Thomas Park in Southie touts the garaged parking that comes with. Unit 3, which is 1,000 square feet, also has in-unit laundry.
__
Unit 11 at 259 Beacon Street in Back Bay comes with two bedrooms and one bathroom spread over 1,000 square feet. Pay laundry is downstairs.
__
Our last comparison is the 1-BR, 1-BA Unit 1 at 9 Rutland Square in the Back Bay-South End borderlands. It's got its own entrance and one parking space right outside. It's 805 square feet.
