While Unit 1217 at what is currently Boston's sole Four Seasons condo building has all the charm of a dentist's waiting room, it does have dictatorial vus of the Common, the Public Garden and just the city in general. We have to believe that these were what drove the price for the 2,206-square-foot spread so far over its $3,875,000 asking. The 2-BR, 2.5-BA spread closed last Friday for $4,550,000. That's a full $675,000 over the asking price. A mega-lot even in a Boston rife with such deals.
