Boston vs. Seattle: Which Super Bowl Fans Live Better?

New, 9 comments

In anticipation of the big game this Sunday, real estate research juggernaut Redfin sized up Boston against Seattle, hometown of the Patriots' Super Bowl opponents. Using Census information and other data pools, Redfin sought to find which city performed better in categories such as "Getting more home for your money," "Enjoying the weather" and "Affording a home in the first place" (if you're unsure which town triumphed in that match-up, you haven't been paying attention).

Boston won the "Getting around" category re: public transportation and walkability. The cities tied in "Dating & Marriage." Otherwise, the home of the Seahawks pretty much ran the tables, beating Boston 6 - 2. Less subjective data from Redfin is below (we destroyed them in annual average snowfall).
