EAST BOSTON—The developer of the big-time waterfront project Portside at East Pier is apparently quite bullish on the region's rent market: "In a change of strategy, Roseland is now planning 454 apartments and only 103 condominium units in the complex in the Jeffries Point neighborhood. It previously obtained approval for 370 condos and 173 apartments." [B + T]

BOSTON—Well, this is awkward: Vegas mogul Steve Wynn tried to give the City of Boston a $1M check per an earlier deal related to the casino-resort he has planned in neighboring Everett. "The check was delivered to the Gaming Commission offices to be held in escrow for the city, after the city refused to accept the check." See, Boston Mayor Marty Walsh is suing Wynn over the plans.
