Inauguration Day

Charlie Baker is set to be sworn in today as the 72nd chief executive of our fair commonwealth. He will not, however, end the day in the Massachusetts Governor's Mansion. Why? Because we're one of only five states without an official home for its gov. This Back Bay monster, though, came this close to the honor in the 1970s. Alas, no one quite saw the need for it.
