Rowes Wharf Spread and Its Four Terraces Six Figures Cheaper

Unit 507 at 20 Rowes Wharf is rather massive for a waterfront condo: seven rooms, all of them with water views and including at least three bedrooms; 3,079 square feet; and what the Otis & Ahearn listing calls three balconies and a terrace, all private. The spread hit the sales market in late August for $7,500,000 and from there it rode out the summer and early fall. Now Unit 5 has chopped its price rather mightily. The new tag is $6,900,000. That is a full $600K off the original asking and one of the biggest chops in Boston so far this year (though by no means the biggest). Still, we're talking more than $2,200 a square foot, which is a ton in Boston, even for prime space. Stay tuned.
