What It Looks Like to Live In an 11-Room Charlestown Colonial

New, 1 comment

The impossibly quaint 2,468-square-foot, 11-room, pink-exterior Colonial at 16 Mead Street in Charlestown was officially on the market barely four months. It first dropped in early June for a cool $849,000 and a deal for it closed just this past Friday. The house dates from 1880, and comes with flourishes such as a central staircase and tin ceilings as well as skylights in the top two bedrooms. How much did the whole thing go for in the end? Sixteen Mead went for $830,000, a not insignificant $19K off the asking. Still.
