Constantine Valhouli, the co-founder of NeighborhoodX, a soon-to-launch data startup, created a map so as to compared home prices per square foot in Greater Boston neighborhoods with ones in neighborhoods throughout the world. For instance: "At $606 per square foot, Harvard Square compares in price to the Vieux Nice neighborhood of Nice ($641/sq.ft.). Over the years, the neighbors have included Aldous Huxley, Graham Greene, F. Scott Fitzgerald, and more recently, Elton John, Bono, and Brad Pitt."
